Framing The House : An Intro To What This Podcast Is About

Welcome to the very first episode of Craft Talk! This intro episode is all about laying down the framework for this series and communicating my intent on why I'm starting this podcast. When we have a ton of ideas floating around in our heads, it’s important to be able to organize all of our thoughts in a way that’s easy to communicate. That’s basically what I’m trying to practice by recording this segment. I try to answer a few questions:

• What is this and what am I trying to achieve?

• Why do I want to interview people with a varied set of skills?

• What do I hope to get out of these conversations?

As I continue to build this world of “Craft Talk”, I hope that I get to share anything and everything that helps me in my own creative journey. I'm really looking forward to talking to people and to learn more about their stories. I also hope that we can find takeaways and inspirations from each conversation that we can implement into our own work. Growth through Discovery. That’s what it’s all about!
